About the project

On March 30, 2012, OWLHOSt was launched - a new hosting project from Perfect Hosting Group - a group of companies whose specialists have more than ten years of successful experience in the hosting industry.

The goal of the OWLHOSt project is to provide really high-quality hosting services in the budget segment of the market. It's no secret that 90% of new hosting companies position their services in the same way, but start at the best with renting equipment in commercial data centers at fixed prices. The client base is recruited at the expense of really low prices, but after recruiting the client base, you either have to raise prices in order for the project to remain profitable, or the quality of services drops, and hosting is slowly fading away.

Understanding the state of today's budget hosting market, we decided to take a different path: to offer the client very affordable prices for services, but not at the expense of their quality and without raising prices in the future. Thanks to our own server hardware, partnership with the best data center in Europe, and a team of dedicated professionals with many years of experience, we were able to successfully bring this concept to life in the form in which you now see it!

Infrastructure and technology

At OWLHOSt, we use only our own equipment to provide services, located in the most modern data center in the Netherlands, Serverius DC2. The DC was designed and built in accordance with modern standards and requirements for data storage and processing centers, equipped with an industrial air conditioning system and an automatic fire extinguishing system. All data center systems are duplicated in accordance with the requirements for data processing centers with a Tier-III degree of reliability.

Server equipment is installed only in Rackmount server cabinets that can accommodate 51U of server and network equipment.

The data center is connected using 2 root routers, and the main connected providers are: 40Gbps AMS-IX, 20Gbps NL-IX, 20Gbps Tinet - Gtt, 20Gbps Level3, 20Gbps Cogent, 20Gbps TATA communications, 20Gbps Atrato & Hibernia, 40Gbps RETN and others

In our work, we use active network equipment manufactured by Brocade and Juniper, which allows us to provide high quality network.
